The first season of Netflix’s smash-hit reality show Bling Empire may have only debuted on our screens this January, but it has now been confirmed that a second season is in the works––here’s everything we know so far
It's happening! Bling Empire season two is officially in the works. The reality show, which follows a group of wealthy Asians living in L.A., was an instant hit when it landed on Netflix in January. Viewers loved everything about the show, from the outfits, to the hairstyles––not to mention all the outrageous moments––and now, we can confirm that we have a second season to look forward to.
Announced on March 10 (HKT), Netflix has stated in a press release that the second instalment has been confirmed, but the release date is yet to be announced. We have heard, however, that a few new faces may be joining the cast.
"Whether you love these shows outright or just love a guilty pleasure, we’re thrilled that Netflix members have embraced our docusoaps. Today we’re excited to announce renewals for Selling Sunset and Bling Empire, plus two can’t-miss new series from the creative talents behind those favourites." read the press release.
While we wait for news of the release date and more details, we have plenty of time to re-watch all eight episodes all over again, reliving every last detail––not to mention speculating about what season two may have in store for us. Will we see Cherie and Jessey tie the knot? Are Kelly and Andrew back together? Will Jaime be cut off from her father? Will Christine agree to make baby G a big brother? And will Kevin keep his shirt on?
