Caught on Screen: Asia's Most Stylish

Close Up

March 25, 2014 | BY Melissa Twigg

We take a sneak peek behind the scenes at this year’s Asia’s Most Stylish shoot at the Four Seasons Macau.

Outside the Macau Ferry Terminal on a warm Friday evening in November, the taxi queue is packed with revellers disgorged from the incoming Hong Kong boats. They can be divided into two distinct camps: testosterone-fuelled boxing aficionados on their way to watch the anticipated fight between Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Ríos, and incredibly eager pop fans waiting to be wowed by Alicia Keys at The Venetian Macau.

Amid all the excitement, a couple of breathtaking women bypass the 40-minute taxi queue and slip into black limousines bearing a discreet Four Seasons Hotel Macau logo. They’re in a distinctly different camp, en route to the most glamorous of all events taking place in Macau this weekend: our annual Asia’s Most Stylish shoot.

Eight elegant women were chosen from around Asia by Tatler editors, and included the Philippine's own Kaye Tinga, Hong Kong's Jaime Ku, Singapore's Sabrina Van Cleef Ault, Taiwan's Janet Chia, Malaysia's Gabriel Tan, Indonesia's Raline Shah, Thailand's Nalinee Worawongwasu, and China's Grace Zheng.
