CCP Launches E-book For Children: Sa Pagbabasa, Hindi Ka Nag-iisa
While your kids are often home, it's important to keep them productive. You can always encourage them to try different things to enjoy exploring their interests and train their brains at the same time — including reading. This allows them to improve their skills in language and literacy.
Fortunately, there are various stories for children to browse from CCP's new Sa Pagbabasa, Hindi Ka Nag-iisa e-book. There's no need to head to the bookstore. All you need is to download the e-book in the comforts of your home with the kids.
Celebrating this year's National Children’s Book Day, the e-book title borrows from the Philippine Board on Books for Young People's tagline. The e-book's cover was also illustrated by Kat Melo for the annual National Children's Book Day's official poster.
Following CCP's digital edition of their renowned encyclopedia is the Sa Pagbabasa, Hindi Ka Nag-iisa e-book launch which will allow your little ones to explore children's literature that focuses on relevant stories of our time.
During the event — which was live-streamed on 27 November — National Artist for Literature Virgilio Almario shared inspiring words for the audience after thanking the team behind the e-book's launch. "It is important to read about what is occurring today," he said in his vernacular.
The kids will have fun browsing the e-book as it includes artworks for children, comics, and more artistic and literary works — created by talented Filipino writers and illustrators — that centres on COVID-19. They will also enjoy colouring activities included in the e-book.
The e-book is available for children of all ages for free.
