Treat yourself to a decadent wellness experience, rich in chocolate.

Chocolate is always a good idea, and in this case, it's now being celebrated at the Chris & Charly’s Chocolate Factory at Nihiwatu Resort, on Sumba Island. Too often, chocoholics are faced with the dilemma of balancing their love for the confectionery with their quest for wellness. But now, you can happily whisk yourself away to a chocolatey vacation while finding peace and tranquillity.

Drawing upon ancient healing practices, raw cacao is the secret to the factory’s Chocolate Wellness Experience. When ingested, cacao stimulates the release of serotonin and endorphins for mood elevation and relaxation. The high caffeine content in chocolate also helps to stimulate blood circulation, reducing fatigue and rejuvenating the skin—which makes the experience a treat for your mind, body, and taste buds.

The programme begins with a factory tour by a Chocolate Wizard at Chris & Charly’s—no Oompa Loompas here, regrettably. After you are taken through the chocolate-making process, participate in a chocolate yoga class in the picturesque jungle of Nihi Sumba, with the guidance of professional instructors.

Then, indulge in a chocolate spa massage using organic ingredients such as raw cacao, cocoa butter and massage oils. Not only will you smell delicious, you will be feeling fresh and revitalised when the treatment is complete.
