Conrad Manila, in cooperation with the Cultural Centre of the Philippines and Montes Wines, recently launched “Of Art and Wine: The Masters of Print” art exhibition in celebration of local artists and the art of winemaking at the Hotel Atrium.

Meticulously created by acclaimed Filipino artists such as BenCab, Arturo Luz and Eugene Jarque, to name a few, a whole set of 25 prints were put on display for guests. The set of prints, part of a Collector’s Edition series which are available for procurement, was made to represent the versatility of today’s artists in employing the wide range of printmaking methods.

“Conrad Manila, in partnership with the CCP, aims to help promote the practice of and appreciation for visual arts, and art in general, especially by local masters," Conrad Manila General Manager Harald Feurstein said. "This collection specifically showcases the endless possibilities when it comes to art through printmaking; an ideal that we share when it comes to providing guests with intuitive, innovative service and a world of style.”

In line with the celebration of artmaking, Montes Wines generously delighted guests with a sampling of its vintages, while also sharing about the craftsmanship that is observed at its Chilean vineyards.

“Of Art and Wine: The Masters of Print” is part of Conrad Manila’s month-long anniversary celebration; a milestone event specially-curated for guests to experience inspired stays, special dining and luxurious pampering offers, and meaningful showcases of authentic, local talent.

"All these artists are together again in this rare anthology of artworks.  Our gratitudes to Ms. Elizabeth Sy and Nes Jardin for this event," said CCP Vice President and Artistic Director Chris Millado. "Thank you very much for supporting the arts and by the way,  all the proceeds of this exhibition will all go to the regional arts education programs of the Cultural Centre of the Philippines. So you're not only buying art but you also make sure that the next generation  of artists in the Philippines will continue to create these wonderful gifts," he continued.
