A festive evening of food, music, and fireworks was thoroughly enjoyed by guests who attended Seven Spellbinding Years, the 7th anniversary celebration for Crimson Resort and Spa – Mactan in Cebu.

As a way of kicking off the event, Crimson Mactan general manager Didier Belmonte thanked his highly capable team for continuing to deliver superb service to both foreign and local guests by raising a ceremonial toast together with Filinvest Hospitality vice-president and 2017 Gen T lister Francis Gotianun and Chroma Hospitality country manager James Montenegro.

In his opening remarks, Belmonte stated that numerous changes were made to the resort over the past several months to give guests of all ages a highly enjoyable experience. These include the recent completion of the 3,700-sqm Crimzone family fun facility which features its own pool, an extensive children’s play area, as well as a snack bar with treats for both kids and adults; the renovation of the resort’s famed infinity pool with a more streamlined design; and, most recently, the opening of Enye by Chele Gonzalez, an amazing addition to Cebu’s fine dining scene thanks to Gonzalez’s deliciously creative spin on classic Spanish fare.

Country manager Montenegro also piqued the interest of assembled guests as he discussed the upcoming developments for Chroma Hospitality in Cebu, beginning with the groundbreaking for Grafik Hotel Mactan, a resort facility specifically geared towards millennial travelers. Foundations have also been laid for Crimson Mactan’s expansion by way of the Crimson Suites Mactan. The two-tower structure will have 228 guest suites, along with restaurants offering a choice between premium Chinese cuisine and Mediterranean-style all-day dining, as well as a grand ballroom and exhibition space that can comfortably accommodate a crowd of 1,000. Montenegro further excited the crowd by announcing that Crimson Resort and Spa – Boracay, the newest addition to the Crimson portfolio, will officially open on 14 February 2018.
