Finale Auctions hosts its live auction on Fine Art on May 18, Saturday at 2PM. Featuring sought after contemporary artists, the auction highlights a spectrum of aesthetics, imageries and techniques that has grown out of the present-day conditions and environments. It will include works by: Liv Vinluan, one of the artists for the special exhibitions of Art Fair Philippines 2019 and one of the selection for the fourth edition of the prestigious Asia Pacific Breweries - Signature Art Prize; Jose Legaspi, known for his macabre and yet engrossing gray-toned portraits; Filipino-American abstract expressionist Alfonso Ossorio; a new media and painter Julius Redillas who has exhibited in various spaces in Manila and Bangkok; and Ronald Ventura, a graduate from the University of Santo Tomas and who in 2011 has set the record for highest paid work in Southeast Asian contemporary art at Sotheby’s Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction in Hong Kong.
