Art connoisseurs and enthusiasts are invited to a captivating year-ender exhibition at Finale Art File of three Filipino contemporary artists.

Finale Art File presented three solo exhibitions by visual artists Amy Aragon, Lyra Garcellano, and Ranelle Dial, on view until January 3, 2015.

Supper Scenario by Amy Aragon

At the Tall Gallery is the exhibition entitled, Amy is Here, where new masterpieces by Amy Aragon are showcased, adding vibrant floral imagery and vivid colored scenes to the place. Aragon playfully moved between gesture and colour in these pieces, as well as abstraction and figuration. With floral imageries jusxtaposed against imagined scenes, Aragon was able to fill each canvas with rich memories and mementos, which were collected over the years.

Meanwhile, the Upstairs Gallery has been well arranged with Lyra Garcellano’s art installations. In her exhibition entitled, Sweep, the metaphor of “land” was used in the quadriptych of landscape paintings—all following a single horizon line. The installations exposed the idea of space and imagination.

Ranelle Dial's Ad Space 1

Lastly, Ranelle Dial’s paintings and video installations at the Video Room are not to be missed. Dial featured video scenes of agricultural France and of Bacolod, accompanying his paintings with concepts of inclusion and exclusion. The focal point of his exhibition is the art installation, with neon as material, which was the artist’s attempt to transcend his response on the current transitions in the use of outdoor advertising spaces, on consumerism, as well as on commercialism.
