In anticipation of Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak's new album "Silk Sonic", we're rounding up some of our favourite tracks by Mars himself

1. Nothing On You ft. B.o.B

About a decade ago, "Nothin' On You" was on loop for radio stations around the country. It blasted through 24/7, giving both Bruno Mars and B.o.B immense exposure for their (then) new single. It's no surprise as to why this song was such a hit, its easy melody and catchy rhythm have withstood the test of time and still sounds great today.

2. Just The Way You Are

In 2010, Bruno Mars dropped his album Doo-Wops & Hooligans; needless to say it became an instant hit. Of the 12 tracks, none compared to the popularity of "Just The Way You Are", which peaked at number 1 on the Billboard charts on 25 September 2010. The song continued to stay on the Billboard charts for 50 weeks—close to a full year!

3. Grenade

Another from Doo-wops & Hooligans, "Grenade" also gained popularity on the Billboard charts. It came to peak at number one in March of 2011 and stayed on the list for 22 weeks

4. 24K Magic

After a hiatus of four years, Bruno Mars returned to the mainstream with the drop of his new album, 24K Magic in 2016. It would go on to win an Album of the Year Grammy in 2018 while its namesake track, "24K Magic" became one of the most popular songs of that time.

5. Versace On The Floor

While most of the tracks in Mars' 24K Magic album came as dancey bops, "Versace on the Floor" was more reminiscent of his earlier hits that featured slower melodies and more intimate lyrics.

6. That's What I Like

What club pre-COVID didn't play "That's What I Like" at some point in the night? This certified bop won Song of the Year at the Grammys in 2018.

7. Finesse ft. Cardi B

Cardi B and Bruno Mars make a fantastic duo. Released in 2018, "Finesse" was the first of Bruno Mars' and Cardi B's collaborations, and was followed up by "Please Me" in 2019.
