The fourth SilverKris Lounge in the world opens at NAIA Terminal 3.

Designed to evoke the travellers’ feelings of being at home, Singapore Airlines’ newly opened SilverKris Lounge at NAIA Terminal 3 features personal spaces, specially curated artworks, and special culinary offerings for guests. Coupled with Singapore Airlines’ personalised service, the new lounge aims to give travellers a much more relaxing experience whilst waiting for their flights.

Guests are welcomed into the lounge by a signature batik design screen. The 450-square metre area just beyond the foyer is able to fit 117 weary travellers into its highly personal spaces tailored for different needs:

The living room is decked with rows of plush chairs equipped with electricity sockets and USB ports. Specially designed productivity pods line both ends of the lounge, perfect for guests who wish to work in privacy and comfort. The signature Sinapore Airlines armchairs are also in the lounge for the guests’ enjoyment.

The walls of the lounge are decorated with Filipino artworks, with Impy Pilapil’s work serving as the centre piece of the room. The paintings come from SilverLens Gallery. As a means of promoting Filipino talent, the gallery will display more artworks in the future.

The dining area features signature Singapore and Filipino dishes such as Hainanese chicken and laksa, and caldereta and Bicol express. The feeling of dinning at the comfort of the home is amplified when the comfort food is paired with any of the lounge’s fine selection of wines, beers, and spirits. To finish the meal, a hearty serving of ice cream and other desserts will do the trick.

Present during the launch were Singapore Airlines executives Philip Goh, Carol Ong, and Kelvin Kwan. Also at the event were Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima, DOTC Undersecretary Jose Perpetuo Lotilla, DOT Undersecretary Benito Bengzon, and Singapore Ambassador to the Philippines Kok Li Peng.
