It has amassed high viewership and was South Korea's highest-grossing comedy of all time. The movie's success across Asia even drew comparisons to James Cameron's Titanic.

TV series Legend Of The Blue Sea proved that Ji-hyun and her leading man Lee Min-ho are more than just pretty faces. In this series, both of them displayed on-screen chemistry like no other.

Here, she performs opposite My Love From The Stars co-star and highest-paid actor of 2021, Kim Soo-hyun.

Many Kim Soo-hyun fans would agree that My Love From The Stars was the show that made them fall for him more. In this series, he is an alien with a human-like form who was trapped on Earth for decades; just before he leaves, he meets Cheon Song-yi (Ji-hyun), a famous actress in Korea.

In 2015, Ji-hyun starred in the South Korean espionage action film Assassination. Set in 1911 (during Japanese occupation in Korea), the movie circles around a resistance fighter who tried to murder a governor-general along with a pro-Japanese businessman.
As of this moment, the movie is currently the eighth-highest-grossing movie in Korean film history with over 12.7 million admissions.
