This seemingly unlikely collaboration is a match made in the stars.

Furniture brand KENNETHCOBONPUE and Walt Disney Philippines have joined forces to create a home collection inspired by Star Wars. The range includes 5 furniture pieces inspired by iconic characters and elements from the beloved franchise.

Creative Director Kenneth Cobonpue, who is a big fan of Star Wars, particularly the Dark Side of the Force, took on the challenge of combining the spirit of Star Wars with the brand’s signature designs that are handmade, nature-inspired, and whimsical. We wanted to incorporate the essence of each Star Wars character into the designs, while staying true to our aesthetic and process of creating them by hand. We reimagined the Star Wars universe through the lens of the Filipino craftsman and creative. Finding the balance was a bit of a challenge, but it was also a lot of fun.”

The collection is made of the Vader Easy Armchair, Sidious Easy Armchair, and Imperial Wings Easy Armchair, Chewie Rocking Stool, and the Little Jedi Hanging Lamp. See the pieces by swiping through this slideshow:

Photo 5 of 6 The microfiber strips are colored brown and wrapped with a fabric belt to emulate Chewbacca and his bandolier. The playfulness of this rocking stool reflects the big heart of the legendary Wookiee warrior and loyal comrade of Han Solo.

The miniature figurines are Jedi Knights holding lightsabers, which are the hanging lamp’s light source. The one red figurine symbolizes a Sith Lord that the Jedi’s are battling against, conveying the message of what can be achieved when people unite and come together.
