Mejore opens its new showroom strategically located in Makati where guests may customise any furniture and create bespoke pieces

The hunt for furniture is part of the charm of interior design. But sometimes, the perfect piece might not even exist in a catalogue—you may find something close, but want it in a slightly lighter shade, covered with different upholstery, or done in a non-standard shape for a really odd-angled corner of the house.

This is why Mejore is introducing true customisation to the retail market. After more than three decades of outfitting the country’s most prestigious hospitality and commercial establishments, the brand is now offering bespoke furniture to individual retail customers.

“The ultimate goal is to let our clients create a home that truly reflects their taste,” says Claire Ong, President. “In the age of pegs and Pinterest, the possible mixes and matches for interior design are simply endless.”

While Mejore still maintains an updated furniture catalogue, customers can now choose to personalise any piece from the brand’s new Makati showroom. Every sales associate in the store is a professional interior designer, and can assess customers’ needs to make recommendations free of charge.

From there, it can take anywhere from two weeks to a month to apply minor changes, or up to 45 to 60 days to create fully bespoke pieces that aren’t in the catalogue. Everything is made in-house by Mejore’s team of artisans using sustainable materials from ethical sources.  These expert craftsmen are skilled in a mix of modern and traditional wood and metalworking methods to create every piece according to clients’ specifications.
