Moss Manila Home’s 10-piece collection is inspired by Palm Springs and features three collaborative designs

Design sisters Cyndi Fernandez-Beltran and Happy Fernandez-Victorino bring to life the chic Palm Springs lifestyle in their latest collection for Moss Manila Home entitled “Manila Living, California Dreaming.” The seven pieces in this collection are joined by three works, each co-designed by Moss Manila and Camille Co, Rissa Mananquil Trillo, and Tessa Prieto Valdes.

At Moss Manila Home, wanderlust has always served as the primary source of information and inspiration, and this collection is no different. On their last trip to Palm Springs, the Fernandez sisters were struck by the cloudless blue skies, the slender California trees, and the society doyennes in their natural habitat—leading to the creation of an entire line celebrating the unique vibe of the desert resort city.

An inspired collaboration

With the aim of bringing in a fresh perspective and also celebrating the company’s third anniversary, Moss Manila Home collaborated with three of their existing clients to create their own version of a Palm Springs-inspired furniture piece to complete the collection.

Rissa Mananquil Trillo co-created a bar cabinet that recalls the look of a sculpture. “The art unfolds when you open the panels to reveal wine racks, shelf space, and a mini bar counter. With a rich green piano finish and champagne gold legs, it’s definitely a furniture piece that raises the bar.”

Also included in the collection is a buffet cabinet co-designed by Tessa Prieto Valdez. The pink marble top compliments the white and gold chevron pattern on the cabinet doors. It is a piece that reflects Tessa’s love for the unexpected, bold, and the eclectic.

Finally, rounding out the collaboration is Camille Co, who co-created a bench with a mini marble table. Truly “millennial and functional,” the furniture blends well with her aesthetic and her own room’s design.
