When this is all over, it would be amazing to visit our vacation home as a complete family. The bigger dream would be not having to socially distance from them while we are there—to be able to carry my newborn nephew, snuggle up with my nieces and hug my parents along with the rest of the family. I also wish that those who have been kept apart from their families by this pandemic can get to reunite with their loved ones as soon as they can.

As a performer, I am very much looking forward to returning to the theatre, whether it be on or off stage. I long for the day when audiences can sit in a packed house and share in the magic of live theatre, without the fear of infection.

The one thing I look forward to the most is the change of government (hopefully) starting in the US this November and in June 2022 for the Philippines to follow. A pivot toward a more democratic direction would mark the beginning of a bright and promising future which we so desperately need now more than ever. Politics aside, I am hopeful that travel restrictions would ease so I can reunite with my family and friends in the Philippines over the holidays. Living in a city like Los Angeles, I look forward to culture opening up again—live music, group exercises, museums, retail and restaurants (I do love that al fresco is becoming the new normal). Although I am in so much awe seeing how technology has helped us ease into this post-coronavirus world, I would not want to lose the human and personal touch authentic to these experiences.

When the world becomes a safer place I look forward to seeing all my family and friends. I look forward to the possibility of travelling and being close to the ocean. I look forward to a basketball game at the park, dinner out with a close friend, and a Friday night conversation with someone who inspires me.

Aside from the obvious—seeing my friends again and being able to travel—I’m looking forward (or I am curious) to see how the world will change in terms of technology, travel and how we do business. Hopefully we become more caring to our environment and develop more compassion towards one another.
