On The Rise: Ayala Land Premier unveils its first residential project in Davao
Nestled in the heart of Davao City and situated by the Davao Gulf, Ayala Land Premier is building its very first residential project in Davao, The Residences at Azuela Cove.
The Residences at Azuela Cove will have 21-storey seaside buildings with a little over 70 expansive units per tower. On the first 24 hours from its launch date, the first tower of The Residences at Azuela Cove was immediately sold out. Units were purchased mostly as a primary home or a weekend getaway, considering its outstanding location. About 70% of the units were purchased by Davao-based individuals, followed by 15% from Manila with businesses or families in Davao. Some 15% represent those purchased by buyers from abroad and from neighboring provinces.

The 25-hectare Azuela Cove in Lanang, Davao is being developed by Aviana Development Corporation, a joint venture between property giant Ayala Land, Inc. and The Alcantara Group, one of Davao’s most established and respected business houses. Azuela Cove offers Davaoeños the best in home, business, and lifestyle in Mindanao. The mixed-use estate’s features include a sprawling Central Park bisecting the estate, increasing pedestrian access throughout, and a waterside Esplanade that allows for distinctive sea views. Specialty restaurants and cafes offering a slew of concepts and cuisines are set to open their doors this July. The estate will also be the location for the newest St. Luke’s Medical Center, the first outside of Metro Manila. The tertiary healthcare facility will cater to around 250 beds and is set to open in 2022.
Heavily invested in Mindanao, the Alcantara Group boasts a diversified portfolio including power generation, agribusiness, real estate development, and construction-related industries. They are the name behind the landmark cultural shopping centre Aldevinco.

The Residences at Azuela Cove is set for completion in 2023. Its second tower is set to be launched in the coming months.
