As it wraps up its successful four-month run, MaArte Fair at Zalora adds more to its inventory and extends the special shopping event until end of February
The holidays may be over, but the clamour for well-made local products continues. The recent online bazaar edition of MaArte available at Zalora website and app will be extending its run with an expanded inventory that features none other than the best artisans in the country. Extending its run till February 28, MaArte @ ZALORA will be featuring a new inventory, restocked with items that were previously unavailable during the holidays. Being one of Museum Foundation of the Philippines (MFPI)'s fundraising efforts, proceeds of the fair will still be for the benefit of the National Museum of the Philippines.
It’s a chance for MaArte patrons to be the first to own interesting pieces as they welcome 2021, by exhibitors such as Gifts & Graces, MCV Designs, Milvidas, TdLGby Tweetie de Leon-Gonzalez, Whimsy by Silay Export, WYC-Wear Your Culture, Barba by Vittorio Barba, and Antuk-in Sleepwears.
MaArte @ ZALORA’s new items can help you refresh your jewellery collection with: Rings and necklaces with pendants handcrafted by T’boli artisan metal crafters of Lake Sebu, South Cotabato (Gifts & Graces); or Boho-style ring cuffs and ear huggers in sterling silver and yellow gold, and adorned with stones such as olive jade and aquamarine (TdLG).
There are also unique bags designed to adapt to today’s need for sanitation and safety—carry-all On-the-Go totes covered in plastic and lined with tarp material, making it easy to wipe clean (MCV Designs). Accessories cases made from locally sourced cotton are available too, which are perfect for organising small items in one’s bag (Milvidas).
And if you’re looking to spruce up your home—given that we’ll be continuing to stay at home in the foreseeable future—MaArte @ZALORA has table mats and pillowcases made with Manobo embroidery (WYC). You can also lounge around in roomy kaftans made with ultra-comfy cotton challis (Barba).
Patrons can also catch more of other MaArte @ ZALORA exhibitors, which include: Amarie, Beyond Borders, Creative Definitions, Ibarra Watches, Coco & Tres, Pika Pika Cards, Siklo Pilipinas, Tilia, Tim Tam Ong, and WVN Home Textiles.
