Unveiled via interactive video stories, Poltrona Frau's new "Take Your Time" collection brings sight, smell, and touch to the forefront of how we enjoy spaces at home

Our home is our haven, our safe space from all the chaos of the outside world. This is why investing in quality furniture isn't just an exercise in aesthetics, but also one that helps us attune ourselves to our lifestyle. For Poltrona Frau, furniture and interior design must be as well-thought-out as possible to ensure that each family member or person can get the best experience out of their space and way of life.

In this new collection, Poltrona Frau has zeroed in on slow, leisurely living. Everything in the "Take Your Time" collection is about taking the time to fully appreciate the senses and what they have to tell us. This comes as no surprise, especially for a brand that always curates and creates things well-thought-out. In the words of CEO Nicola Corpulis himself, Poltrona Frau is a world full of "moments that aren't rushed, that we should savour with all our senses."

For this collection, the Italian brand has teamed up with various designers to create comfortable yet luxurious items that are pleasurable to the sight, smell, and touch. Much more exciting is each individual item's versatility, which as can be seen from the interactive video stories, are easily adaptable to any lifestyle or family.

The first story we are introduced to is called "A Perfect Night". The video shows the lifestyle of a young woman living alone; and because the video is interactive, viewers can see what Poltrona Frau furniture can offer its protagonist on a perfect night, whether that entails an evening spent at home with friends, or a quiet evening where one chooses to turn in early. The video itself features a variety of items from the new collection, including the comfortable Lola Darling Bed by Roberto Lazzeroni and the Japanese-inspired Iren Home Desk by Kensaku Oshiro.

The second story is a heartwarming one entitled "The Gift". There are two synchronous versions of the video which viewers can choose from. The first "story mood" shows a young couple upon the discovery of their pregnancy, while the second "story mood" shows them years later, on the birthday of their second child. It's a sweet interpretation of what a gift is, but in both, we can easily see how Poltrona Frau furniture adapts to the lifestyles of a young couple or a young family. In another attestation to the durability and versatility of Poltrona Frau, we see multiple pieces of furniture such as the Airound Home Diffuser made by Poltrona Frau and Acqua di Parma. The Archibald stool was another highlight of the entire video, which we see can be used as a chic bar stool, or a fun high chair for toddlers.

The last story, called "Secret Note" shows a working father separated from his daughter, Ayako. One version of the story shows him on a video call with the adorable Ayako, while the other shows him at a call with an architect who is helping him build Ayako's dream home. It's a sweet and often painfully familiar reality for working parents, but doubtless, the father's personal space has helped him feel more relaxed while apart from his loved one, and also more focused when about work. Notable furniture pieces featured were Ginger Ale armchair, which doubles as a dining chair and a work chair, plus the stylish yet functional Peek-a-Book desk by Roberto Lazzeroni.
