Revisit the National Museum of the Philippines simply by following the safety guidelines and bringing your family to have a wonderful time amidst a rich collection of history, arts and culture

The National Museum of the Philippines is reopening its doors to guests who have missed its rich collection of arts and culture. Gradually, they are allowing guests to visit its central museums within the National Museum Complex in Rizal Park which are the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Museum of Anthropology and the National Museum of Natural History. However, the National Planetarium will remain closed until further notice.

But before you step into the premises, make sure that you have read the museum's new guidelines below. After all, the guidelines are implemented to keep you and other guests safe throughout your visit.

HOW TO PLAN YOUR VISIT

You must pre-book online at reservation.nationalmuseum.gov.ph at least one day before your planned visit. Confirmation of your reservation will be sent through email. In compliance with other conditions, walk-in visitors will not be allowed inside.

You can bring your friends and family to the National Museum. However, group reservations are limited to a maximum of five people.

COMPLY WITH SAFETY PROTOCOLS IN THE MUSEUMS

Your temperature will be taken upon entry to each central museum building. Those with a temperature of 37.5 degrees Celsius and above will not be allowed to enter. Those with flu-like symptoms will not be allowed to enter as well.

Complete the health declaration form before entering each central museum building. This will be facilitated as part of the online reservation process. Hand sanitisers will be available throughout the museum, as well as handwashing facilities in all comfort rooms.

Don't forget your face mask and face shield. And refrain from removing them during the visit. Should you wish to bring your own sanitising kits like small bottles of alcohol, small spray bottles, and tissue paper, just remember to be mindful when using them.

Social distancing of at least two metres between persons not belonging to the same household must be observed at all times.

Elevators are only allowed for persons with disabilities and senior citizens. Guided tours are not allowed.

VISITING HOURS

You may visit the National Museum of the Philippines from Tuesdays to Sundays, excluding religious holidays, during the morning session from 9am to 12nn, or the afternoon session from 1pm to 4pm. If you wish to visit in the morning, make sure you arrive before 11am. Should you decide to join the afternoon session, arrive before 3pm. Only 100 visitors are allowed inside per session, so head over to the museum early.

PERSONS WHO CAN VISIT

Ages 15 to 65 years old, including those with disabilities, are welcome to visit the museum. Simply bring an identification showing your date of birth or other proof of age.
