Philippine Tatler and Canon Philippines congratulate two winners of the online photography contest.

PhilippineTatler.com and Canon Philippines hosted an online photography contest throughout the month of August. The collaboration inspired amateur and professional photographers to encapsulate photos that displayed the similar edginess, creativity, and depth of images featured in the magazine.

Mia Borromeo, Sara Black, Anton San Diego, Sherina May Zamora-Cabajar, and Wig Tysmans

Over ninety well-constituted photographs depicting faces, travel,  architecture, nature, fashion, and dining were submitted for the chance of owning a Canon Power Shot N, a fold-out point and shoot Wi-Fi enabled digital camera. On September 3, the two winning photos were chosen by five esteemed judges namely, Anton San Diego (editor-in-chief, Philippine Tatler); Mia Borromeo (editor-at-large, Philippine Tatler); Sherina May Zamora-Cabajar (marketing manager, Canon Philippines); and the two highly acclaimed professional photographers Wig Tysmans and Sara Black. Each photo was reviewed based on its composition and relevance to the theme followed by a deliberation. Reu Flores’ captivating image of Odiongan at dusk and Joanne Castañeda’s tranquil shot of the Cagayan river garnered the winning votes.
