There are few things in life that are more exciting than boarding a plane that will take you to places you’ve never seen before. Frequent airline seat sales, new flight routes, and relaxed entry visa requirements have made the jet setter life more accessible to more Filipinos.

To allow its clients to plan ahead their travel up to next year and provide a venue to score great travel deals, the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is holding the BPI Awesome Travel Fair from October 18-20 at the Glorietta Activity Centre in Makati City. BPI’s top cardholders get access to the travel event a day ahead, on October 17.

A similar event will be held for Visayas-based cardholders from October 26-27 at The Gallery in Ayala Center, Cebu City. A preview day sale will also be held on October 25 for select top clients. Entrance to both events is free.

“We want our clients to fully experience and enjoy the benefits of a BPI Cardholder. These travel fairs are ways that we are letting our clients achieve their dreams and the lifestyle they want,” said Jenny Lacerna, SVP and Product & Sales Group Head of BPI’s Unsecured Lending and Cards Group.

Participating airlines for the Manila event include All Nippon Airways, Cebu Pacific, Cathay Pacific, Eva Airways, Jeju Air, Qantas Airways, Thai Airways, and Turkish Airlines. El Nido Resorts and Klook also have special BPI Travel Fair offers at their respective booths. For the Cebu leg, Cathay Pacific, Cebu Pacific, Eva Air, and Klook will take part in the event.

This travel event is made even more special with exclusive perks and rebate deals during the preview sale. Cardholders invited to the preview sale events can get a three percent rebate when they use their BPI Mastercard Credit Card or a gift card worth PHP3,000 when they use their BPI Visa Credit Card, subject to a minimum spend requirement.

“The benefits of being a BPI Credit Cardholder goes beyond being able to book your trips at special rates. When you get to your destination, using your BPI Credit Card for your international transactions can actually help you save money with our very low foreign currency conversion rate of 1.85%,” said Lacerna.
