We all saw it coming— Zack Snyder's action-filled, zombie heist Army Of The Dead will have more stories to reveal. The two-hour-long film was not enough to explore and answer questions that left the fans hanging.
This year, its prequel, Army Of Thieves will air on our TV screens sooner than we think. The trailer for the heist movie was released last week amid the movie’s San Diego Comic-Con panel. This time, the movie will be directed by actor and director Matthias Schweighöfer who gave life to Ludwig Dieter's character in Army Of The Dead.

The new addition to Snyder's zombie universe follows a heist conducted by Ludwig Dieter, a safe-cracking expert and one of the original movie’s most popular characters. This movie was in production before the release of Army of the Dead.

It can be recalled that in the original movie, viewers were baffled by the appearance of hybrid zombies, humanoids, and whatnot. With Schweighöfer's story set on the outset of the apocalypse, fans can expect to see and understand the origins of these creatures.
