Here's what and who we're excited to see on 23 May during the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, and where to watch the show:

The 31st Billboard Music Awards is providing a stage for our favourite artists right when we need to see them the most. The time has come for us to get cosy while watching some of the most anticipated performances in the comfort of our homes.

It has been years since Nick Jonas took on the stage in 2015 and reunited with the Jonas Brothers in 2019. This time, Nick returns to the show as host in this year's Billboard Music Awards. Despite hosting the show solo for the first time, Nick has had the opportunity to present the Oscar nominations with his wife Priyanka Chopra this 2021.

Catch performances by celebrated artists like The Weeknd and P!nk, who will receive the Icon Award. Drake will also join the show as Billboard's Artist of the Decade. Both artists are known for putting on a spectacle on stage during their live performances; P!nk with her impressive aerial gymnastics during the Grammys and The Weeknd's insane musical production during the Pepsi Super Bowl LV Halftime Show.

Global sensation BTS will also perform their upcoming single Butter, all the way from South Korea. The group's return to the Billboard Music Awards show isn't surprising as they are a finalist at the show's four categories.

K-pop groups Blackpink and Seventeen are also finalists at the show. Hopefully, we also get to see appearances from Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Lady Gaga, and Justin Bieber among many others as they have also been nominated on the Billboard Music Awards.

SB19, a P-pop boyband from the Philippines, has also been nominated for Top Social Artist, which is already a momentous feat given that they are the first Filipino and Southeast Asian performers to be nominated at the awards.
