This Raya season, The Exchange TRX pays homage to the beauty and splendour of the festivities with the 'Magnificence of Raya'—a visual and experiential spectacle showcasing Malay culture, tradition, and art. Guests are greeted by decorative elements at the entrances and throughout the interior, as well as a giant installation at TRX City Park inspired by a dish most synonymous with Hari Raya—the humble ketupat. Inside, the central exchange features a grand kampung house inspired by traditional Malay architecture, design, and motifs. Throughout the festive period, guests can enjoy traditional silat and wayang kulit performances as well as musical acts from a caklempong and kompang troupe. 

The Gardens Mall

The Gardens Mall welcomes the month of Ramadan with stunning festive decor inspired by Arabesque patterns and designs, as well as beautifully curved arches and intricate carvings in the surrounding structures that cast elaborate shadows. Guests can also admire the myriad of colours from the traditional glazed tile motifs and glass lanterns around the mall, making the perfect backdrop for their Raya fit pics or selfies.

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

Pavilion KL shines bright for its ‘Radiant Raya’ celebration, capturing the beautiful history of Malay textiles, culture, and the beauty of crystals. Drawing inspiration from the celestial beauty of the night sky, the decoration features twinkling stars to the giant crescent moon displayed in the Centre Court. Pavilion KL is also partnering with Swarovski, featuring a grand pop-up that lets guests marvel at the stunning crystal decorations, including four vibrant installations in the shape of an octagon, which is an emblematic Swarovski symbol.

Sunway Pyramid

Sunway Malls is ushering in the Hari Raya festivities with its Gaya Riang Raya campaign, a modern take on a timeless celebration at all of its malls, but our favourite is Sunway Pyramid's vibrant modern Souk decor adorned with Moorish arches and contemporary motifs. Guests can immerse themselves in the colourful ambience, blending Malaysian culture with artistic flair. Guests can also redeem exclusive Raya packets designed by Nas Suha and Getha travel kits, as well as participate in exclusive workshops. The East Coast is the inspiration for 1 Utama’s Raya festive decor this year as it features intricately designed displays adorned with vibrant batik prints, symbolising the artistry and heritage of Pantai Timur. Themed Hikayat Sang Perantau, shoppers can delight in the sight of traditional Perahu Kolek that's showcased alongside intricate Wayang Kulit and Wau Bulan, a celebration of craftsmanship passed down through generations.

Bangsar Shopping Centre

For Raya season this year, Bangsar Shopping Centre celebrates love, faith, and togetherness with its vibrant festive decor and a slew of activities including dance shows and cultural performances.
