Just as expected, Comic-Con 2022 had plenty to tease for our viewing pleasure. Here are the trailers of movies and TV shows unveiled at the San Diego convention we love so far.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

The first trailer shows us the first footage of Namor, the Submariner (played by Tenoch Huerta) and teases us a glimpse of Black Panther although it's still not clear who will take over from original lead Chadwick Boseman, who passed away in 2020.

Black Adam

Star Dwayne Johnson thrilled the packed Hall H when he showed up in full costume at Comic-Con. Based on the synopsis and trailer, the movie is an origins tale in which Black Adam is granted the powers of Egyptian gods and then imprisoned. Released after 5,000 years, Black Adam unleashes his unique form of justice on the modern world.

John Wick: Chapter 4

Keanu Reeves returns as the title character, this time joined by Donnie Yen playing an old friend of John Wick.

Shazam: Fury of the Gods

If the trailer is anything to go by, the sequel continues with more of the charming blend of action and comedy that made the first film so enjoyable. The original cast including Zachary Levi gets a shot in the arm with the additions of Oscar winner Helen Mirren and Charlie's Angels' Lucy Liu.

Teen Wolf: The Movie

At the Hall H panel with Teen Wolf's stars Tyler Possey and Tyler Hoechlin as well as writer Jeff Davis, Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Sarah Michelle Gellar made a surprise appearance to announce she's starring in Teen Wolf spin-off series Wolf Pack

The Sandman

This upcoming Netflix series is based on Neil Gaiman's iconic comic book and stars British actor Tom Sturridge.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

The prequel to The Hobbits and The Lord of the Rings movies is a TV series that will feature Morgoth, the first Dark Lord of Middle-Earth and the mentor of Sauron.

National Treasure: Edge of History

The Disney+ series expands the National Treasure universe into a series with a new cast, with the exception of Jason Bartha who reprises his role as Riley Poole from the movies. Oscar winner Catherine Zeta-Jones plays a black market antiquity dealer. No word yet if we'll see Nicolas Cage returning to the franchise he helped popularise.
