Nobu Matsuhisa and Robert De Niro are at it again. The opening of Nobu Hotel & Restaurant in Santorini marks the brand's 10th hotel in Europe, and 26th in the world
It's not like we needed another reason to visit the white and azure dreamscape that is Santorini, but alas.
Nobu is forging onwards on its path to global domination with the opening of Nobu Hotel & Restaurant in Santorini, Greece, which is slated to open in Spring 2022.
Situated on a clifftop in the island’s captivating northeast coast, the boutique hotel offers panoramic views of the Caldera and Aegean Sea. This is Nobu’s first hotel in the Hellenic Republic, and its 10th hotel in Europe, with plans to open properties in Rome, San Sebastián and Hamburg also in the pipeline.
Dressed in muted tones that melt into the colours of Santorini's iconic coastline, the hotel will of course house a Nobu Restaurant serving Nobu's signature Peruvian-Japanese cuisine. It will also feature a full-service spa, dual-level infinity pool, and five luxurious pool villas.
“Santorini is one of the most highly regarded destinations in the world with its rare beauty, famed for its distinctive cuisine, whitewashed architecture set with a backdrop of steep cliffs, and dramatic sunsets lighting the sea and sky,” Nobu Hospitality’s CEO, Trevor Horwell, said in a statement. “We look forward to inviting locals and international travellers alike to experience the Nobu lifestyle in this special destination.”
