Felicia Hung-Atienza

Founder, President, and CEO, Chinese International School

Educator and entrepreneur Felicia Hung-Atienza, who’s married to television presenter Kim Atienza, is also a famous fitness enthusiast and a conservationist

Felicia Hung-Atienza turned 52 in 2021, but as comments on her Instagram page attest, she certainly doesn’t look like it. That’s in part because the mother of three and wife of media man Kim Atienza, is a person who takes fitness very, very seriously. But much more impressive than her dedication to fitness is her work as the president and CEO of Chinese International School Manila, which she founded after scouting for a school for her son Jose when he was just two years old.

“I wanted him to go to an international school that would help prepare him to apply to any university, whether it be local or abroad, but also one that would have Mandarin as a foreign language requirement in its curriculum early on,” Hung-Atienza once told Tatler. At the time, no such school existed, so I decided to start my own.”

That’s how the former Merrill Lynch stockbroker found her calling in the field of education. After founding CISM, Hung-Atienza also went on to put up Domuschola International School, of which she is also president and CEO.
