While some branches are newer than others, one rarely comes to Via Mare expecting to revel in plush surroundings. The food is truly the main focus.

  • True to its moniker, the baked oysters remain a popular draw, but it's the Filipino café classics such as the pancit luglog and lumpiang ubod that have developed a cultish following.
  • When feeling under the weather, few bring greater comfort than the soothing tandem of the thick, aromatic chicken arroz caldo and tokwa’t baboy(classic Filipino bar chow).
