Cartier is empowering women through its business-forward initiative, set to take place in 2021.

As women continue to become and more and more empowered, so have we begun to see just how vast the world can become for those who are given a chance. Fortunately, no one knows this better than Cartier. The high-end jewellery and watch brand has been supporting talented, entrepreneurial businesswomen since 2006 with their Women's Initiative.

In partnership with the INSEAD Business School, Cartier has set out on a mission to provide talented women with the necessary financial and social support to help them grow their business and hone their leadership skills.

The programme grants seven regional awardees each year from Latin America & the Caribbean, North America, Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East & North Africa, East Asia, South Asia & Oceania. The 2021 edition however, features the brand-new Science & Technology Pioneer Award that aims to help support women at the forefront of scientific and technological innovation.

Each of the eight laureates will be awarded a USD100,000 grant alongside support on strategic financial thinking, mentoring, media visibility, and international networking opportunities. They will also be given an opportunity to join an INSEAD executive education programme.

The panel of judges will also select 14 runners-up (two from each region) to grant USD30,000 to. These winners will also gain the same type of strategic and social support from Cartier and INSEAD Business School.
