The country's esteemed jet setters and industry frequent flyers gathered at the Raffles and Fairmont Makati Ballroom last June 6 during Philippine Tatler Traveller's annual Art of Luxury Travel event for the launch of the title's awaited London issue. This year's event revels in the charm of London with young sisters Kerry and Kylie Tinga. To launch Volume 13 of the publication, a celebration co-hosted by Raffles and Fairmont Hotels was held in partnership with Mastercard Philippines. Guests got a taste of the world: from delectable international cuisine, wine and cocktail concotions from the ever popular Botanist Gin Bar and Engkanto artisanal beer and lots of bubbly! 17 tastefully designed vignettes from top global brands showcased the latest in luxury and travel essentials. Philippine Tatler Managing Director Irene Martel Francisco and Tatler Traveller editor Mia Borromeo welcomed guests, along with valued partners Raffles and Fairmont Makati, represented by Mr. David Batchelor and Mr. Rowell del Fierro of MasterCard, to an evening of cheer and lush discovery.

Unveiling the latest in luxury and travel, the ballroom was decorated in destination themed vignettes by acclaimed brands, Anya Resorts & Residences Tagaytay, Astoria Hotels and Resorts, Beauty Bar, Filigree, Hamilo Coast, Ideal Vision, Jewelmer, Marco Polo Ortigas, Manila Marriott Hotel, Nespresso, PAL Mabuhay Miles, Paul & Shark, Rustan's The Beauty Source, Sunglass Haven, and Turkish Airlines.

Five-star stays and fashionable travel essentials comprised the fun mix of raffle prizes that were given away to unsuspecting guests. Of the evening's dazzling surprises was a South Sea pearl from Jewelmer, a round trip to Macau courtesy of PAL Mabuhay Miles, and a round trip ticket to any destination in Europe aboard Turkish Airlines.

Festive food stations were spread across the livened venue, featuring international cuisines and exquisitely curated delicacies by the hotel's F&B team. From renowned British favourites and Middle Eastern delights, guests indulged in a fresh ceviche station, The Botanist's gin and tonic bar, and artisanal craft beer by Engkanto Brewery.

With good company and top offerings from a world of luxury travel, the event sparked a desire to revisit parts of the Philippines and explore the rest of the globe.
