SM Supermall’s kicked off the season of festivities by hosting a warm and meaningful early Thanksgiving meal for its dearest media partners.

At the lauded China Blue by Jeremy Leung, a stunning special menu was prepared for guests to indulge in. Each dish definitely impressed everyone’s palates. Media juggernauts were welcomed by SM proprietors, Tessie Sy Coson and Hans Sy who joined their team: Steven Tan, Mitch So, Grace Magno and JonJon San Agustin.

This intimate lunch consisted of notable names from the Philippine media world, four of whom are owners. Our Managing Director, Irene Martel Francisco was present with fellow owner/publishers Emilio Yap (Manila Bulletin), Miguel Belmonte (Star) and Sandy Prieto-Romualdez (Inquirer) - what  a feat! Other top level editors like Raul Manzano (Metro Society), Thelma San Juan (Inquirer), Millet Mananquill (Star), Yvette Fernandez (Summit), and many other good friends gathered for this warm, work-free, social gathering and were asked what they were all thankful for this 2019 and what they look forward to this Christmas!

It was quite a coup to get all these owners and the industry’s top editors and writers in one room, with the lovely company of Tessie and Hans - one of the first-ever times in truth! This impressive occasion goes to show you how much our partnerships with SM means to all of us as well!

Despite everybody’s wildly hectic work and personal lives, they were all able to hit the pause button for a moment to truly was able to relax and enjoy this rare occasion. This end-of-year holiday season needs more moments like these, to reflect on what good and smile-worthy happenings occurred throughout the year that was.
