Titled, Curated Memories: A Wedding Story, Novotel Araneta in partnership with JMG Infinity events held a fashion show that feature some of the best Philippine weaves and wedding designs by fashion veteran, Renee Salud. All in all to benefit the Bantay Bata foundation which champions child protection, safety, and the fight against exploitation and violence. Held in Novotel's grandball room, the hotel welcomed distinguished guests with delicious cocktails and an array of displays by Designers Circle Philippines and styled wedding tablescapes by Henry Pascual.
The show was a treat as it featured the donors themselves, most of which belonged to the medical and engineering profession. With doctors trading up their white coats for intricately designed couture, it was a refresing sight for all their loved ones who did not spare applause as the esteemed MDs walked down the runway. Showcasing different aspects of Filipina style and beauty, the show featured variations on the terno, barong, filipiniana, and other tribal silhouettes. As a finale, Renee Salud's collection named, Kasalan, was a modern interpretation on the Filipino wedding tradition.
