Happily ever after indeed gets an even better sequel, with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex expecting their firstborn by Spring 2019.
Five months after their dreamy wedding last May, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shared the delightful news to the public through their official social media account.
“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019,” Kensington Palace wrote on Twitter.
The news came hours after the couple landed in Sydney, as part of their first official out-of-the-country tour.
“Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public,” read on a separate tweet.
