Rustan’s and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) celebrate culture, creativity, and nationalism at “The Art of the Filipino,” a month-long showcase of Filipino crafts. Guests can check out the showcase of locally made accents, dinnerware, linens, and local luxuries until July 9.

Rustan’s Our Very Own has staged a display of creative and ingenious local luxuries such as carved wood décor, refined capiz shell pieces, and elegant fabrics that show off the islands’ rich history and cultural heritage.

Aside from these wonderful creations, the DTI’s Go Lokal! intiaitve has also prepared a presentation of bags, shoes, and décor made from indigenous materials by aspiring designers and home brands. This is the agency’s way of supporting the country’s micro and small enterprises—by providing a platform for talented entrepreneurs to test the marketability of their products.

Also adorning the walls of Rustan’s are the compelling photographs of award-winning photography group, TP5. The photo exhibit, which aims to instill a deeper appreciation and love for the Motherland, comprises of the works of Adel Samson, Bien Bautista, Jijo de Guzman, Kakai Manotok-Arroyo and Jan Aliling. Their works are displayed until July 9 and are available for sale.
