Celebrating Uncommon Women
These powerhouse women from different fields of expertise were united in commemorating their shared ties and individual successes. They are definitely a group of Uncommon Women: which is a Holyoke saying meant to celebrate the diversity, uniqueness and talent of every woman. Hostess and alumna Barbee Chuidian welcomed everyone into her home to celebrate while recounting one another’s milestone moments in life. These talented women brought works that they are proud of: things that they have invented, produced and authored, sharing it with all whom attended.
One of the highlights of the evening was when Chef Margarita Fores who is an alumna, prepared a tutorial, showing all guests how to prepare her famous pasta al telefono! Fores gladly showered the ladies with spectacular feast. It was an evening of sharing, fondly reminiscing and exalting the possible.
