An exlcusive launch cocktail was held on July 24 at Shangri-La At The Fort! They are your go-to resource for high quality vintage timepieces and rare modern watches. You can rely on the group’s three founding partners, Paolo Martel, Jesse Maxwell and Franco Varona to scout out and source the world’s top finds. They have all shared a bond over beautiful watches of the utmost quality, and fruitfully decided to begin a business centred around their passion.

At this launch event, they introduced a prominent figure in the watch world, founder of Watches In Rome, Maurizio De Simone. This man is an authority in the industry, having been working with timepieces for over 30 years. He and his sons operate one of the oldest vintage watch shops in the world. Maurizio has been a watch journalist since 1989, also consulting for top auction houses and brands internationally. At the event he spoke about his advice, tips and shared his vast knowledge on matter.

Guests of Vintage Grail and Tatler eagerly viewed rare finds flown in by Maurizio and other head-turners sourced by the group. From one-of-a-kind pieces to million Euro watches, everyone (novices to aficionados) was curious and captivated by what was on display.
