Manila’s stylish set made their spectacular entrances at the 18th Philippine Tatler Ball last Saturday evening—and they did not disappoint, leaving us with plenty of fashion moments to ogle for days!

Volume, volume, volume! A touch of whimsy filled the carpeted corners and hallway leading to Shangri-La Fort's grand ballroom, where maximalist fashion trend proved most evident this year. There were no shortage of show-stopping looks from notable mavens who braved some of the most risk-taking frocks; from feather embellishments and billowing skirts in ruffled tulle, to structured silhouettes complete with dramatic puffed sleeves. But of course, there were also the fail-safe classicists who donned simple but elegant looks in black dresses, shimmering metallic hues, and glittering sequins to keep with the overall glamorous theme.

As we all know, apart from the dress, there's more than one way to shine and stand out; impeccable head-to-toe styling paired with the perfect combination of class and sass, can make all the difference. Some did it better than others—which will always be open for debate—but, one thing is certain: these thirteen muses turned more than a few heads and garnered astonishing style wins that evening.
