Before Kanye West signed with Adidas to produce today's Yeezy models, the artist once collaborated with Nike in 2009. The project birthed the first few iconic pairs like the Nike Air Yeezy 2 "Red October". It was released in 2014, the year when hot red sneakers became all the rage. Although these cushioned sneakers were sold out right away, some deadstock pairs are being sold by resellers 'til now.

They're also easy to clean. The Foam Runners have a very distinct style that took the internet—and later the market—by storm. It didn't take long for counterfeits to emerge, which recently caught Kanye's attention.

Kanye has often mentioned that he thinks 10 years ahead in life. This rings true even in his craft as seen in his unique designs. The Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V3 "Azael"—which also glows in the dark—is one of Kanye's creations that embody the designer's futuristic vision. Although it has EVA midsoles, they're incredibly comfortable. Wearing this snug pair will have you walking for hours without a complaint. Although some find its alien-like concept odd, the Azaels were immediately sold out.

Fans of the brand loved Turtle Dove, the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350's firstborn, and its Primeknit upper which is retained on all the other models that came after. This limited design has a sock-like fit that secures the shoe in place. Its pull tab also makes it convenient to slip on. The interior is also soft which makes it a great running shoe.

6. Adidas Yeezy Boost 750 "OG"

If you prefer high-top sneakers or boot-like shoes, then you might agree that the Adidas Yeezy Boost 750 "OG" was simply one of the best. Its minimalist design veers away from Kanye's previous creations at the time when it was released in 2017. While it's made with a suede upper sole, most people today might notice its distinct rubber soles. Like most Yeezys today, this earlier design is also comfortable on the feet. Currently, the highest bid on StockX for these sneakers are at USD2,200 (PHP106,681).

If you think the 350 are soft, then Adidas Yeezy 500 will have you feeling like you're walking on clouds. Some might view the Yeezy 500 as a premium dad shoe, but this pair has a unique combination of suede and mesh that makes it appear sophisticated on hand. The Taupe Light is a personal favourite, mainly because of its silhouette which gives the sneakers more dimension and colourway which makes it easy to match with clothes.
