It’s not often that rubber winds up as the material of choice for a chic style staple, but it is this very medium that put outdoor luxury brand Aigle on the map.

The rubber boots Aigle has been producing since the 1920s continually go through a meticulous 60-step manufacturing process, subjected to tests for abrasion and wear-and-tear, ensuring its capability to withstand the harshest of elements. To date, an estimate of 4,000 pairs of boots are produced daily at their Chatellerault factory!

Though it is most well-known for footwear, the brand has expanded its offerings to include apparel and accessories for men, women, and children, all of which are designed in such a way that integrates functionality with aesthetic.

With a new flagship store at Uptown Mall in Fort Bonifacio, you can find exactly what you need for your holiday travels! Its interiors capture the adventurous spirit of the brand, referencing French architecture (the floor tiles are inspired by those at the Palace of Versailles). It also sports distinct Aigle elements such as the famous boot bar that showcases the best of its wares as well as recreations of the workbenches from the factory.

“We Filipinos are very fashion-forward,” shares Andrew Naval of Noble House, the official distributor of Aigle in the country. “That’s where Aigle comes in—to marry both style and reliability in outdoor wear.”
