The K-pop girl group’s new single drops on August 19, and a teaser of the music video is out—here’s how you can emulate Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo and Rosé’s looks

Blackpink is taking an edgy turn with its newest single Pink Venom—at least in the make-up the members are sporting.

The K-pop girl group posted stills from the song’s music video on Instagram this week, as well as a teaser video on YouTube, ahead of its official release on August 19.

The girls are seen in simple yet striking looks, featuring futuristic metallics and plenty of glitter. Here’s how you can recreate these looks.

Lisa is known for her signature eyeliner. She’s still seen with feline eyes—though it’s a sultrier version, with a longer wing.

Draw black eyeliner on the inner corners of the eye and on the waterline. This extends the shape of your eyes and emphasises this lifted look.

Apply bronze eyeshadow—or any colour that complements the colour of your hair—on the eyelids, and tie the look together with a peachy and slightly metallic lip.

Jisoo is the only member of Blackpink who has yet to release a solo record, and following the release of the Pink Venom teasers, fans have been rooting for it to happen this year—with “Jisoo’s era” gaining traction on social media.

Minimalistic black dots do so much to elevate winged eyeliner, adding instant glam and intrigue. Mirror the look on your nails by dotting some on your cuticles too.

A matte pink lip is the perfect base for a diamante lip ring—if you don’t have a piercing, use an ear cuff in any metallic finish instead.

Jennie pulls off a robot-inspired look, with metallic lines across her face and lips.

A neutral eye look will serve as a canvas for the metallic face liner to pop.

Use matte brown eyeshadow and apply individual lashes to the outer edge of the eyes. If it’s a challenge to acquire metallic face decals, use a water-activated liner and long, thin brush (with a steady hand) instead.

Rosé’s Pink Venom make-up is the most metallic-looking out of all the members.

Apply a smattering of silver glitter to the inner corner of the eye, concentrating more on the outer part of the lower lash line—that will accentuate a smoky eyeliner look and also works well with hooded eye shapes.

Add face studs along the cupid’s bow and on the bottom lip, which frames the lips. These studs, which feature medical-grade adhesive, are by cruelty-free and vegan make-up line Half Magic, which was founded by Euphoria’s make-up artist Donni Davy. Finish the look with a streak of silver nail polish on your fingers.
