Catwalk Beauty Trends From Haute Couture Fashion Week

Statement eyeliner
Statement eyeliner ruled the catwalks this season, with the Antonio Grimaldi show making the case for the graphic cat eye and Georges Hobeika opting for an exaggerated, winged look. At Dior, a double-lined look tinged with gold added a dash of the unexpected.
Colourful eyeshadow
Bright, vivid hues heralded the arrival of spring, with models at Maison Rabih Kayrouz sporting washes of hot pink colour that reached their eyebrows. There was also plenty of liberally-applied eyeshadow in bewitching hues at the Jean Paul Gaultier show, teamed with elaborate floral headpieces.
Low-key romance
Laid-back romantic looks were seen on the catwalk at Julien Fournié, where soft red lips and statement top knots made for a sophisticated but casual look. The Giorgio Armani Prive beauty look centred on whimsical details and dreamy colours, with the models wearing a hot pink lipstick blurred out at the edges for a softer look, while taupe lips and smokey eyes made for a poetic but polished look at Chanel.
