Want to break the gloomy season with a splash of colour in your wardrobe? Rustan’s has the perfect solution to your conundrum.

Bringing the beautiful and mystical culture of Morocco to the Philippines, Rustan’s packs up this ancient country’s fashion, food, and wares and flies it all the way to Makati in celebration of their month-long festival entitled “Le Coeur du Maroc” (The Heart of Morocco) this August.

The bright and vivid scarves, kaftans, and Djellaba will surely give your rainy day ensemble its much needed boost, while loud and stunning accessories like tassel earrings and beaded necklaces will be your new best friend when it comes to spicing up your daily attires. The Babouche (flat, slipper-like shoes with an exaggerated point at the toes) can now also be found in Rustan’s.

To further bring the colourful taste of the Moroccan fashion to the country, designer Fatim-Zahra Ettalbi will be visiting to showcase her exquisite collection in a by-invite only event.

Aside from fashion, Moroccan homewares will also be curated at the festival. Some of which are intricately designed Tajines and ceramic plates, handmade rugs, baskets and bags, Moroccan Tea Glasses, lanterns, lamps, and silverware hand-hammered by master metalworkers.

Of course, the Moroccan experience will never be complete without its famous “liquid gold” — argan oil. Rustan’s presents a variety of serums and soaps infused with argan oil, as well as 100% pure argan oil.
