The Hong Kong designer and haute couturier is on a roll this month—he created Mirror’s Keung To’s look for his solo concert and now he’s dressed the iconic British singer

Oscar- and Grammy-winning artist Adele sparkled on stage in a custom gown designed by Hong Kong couturier Robert Wun during her residency concert at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas over the weekend.

Inspired by Wun’s autumn-winter 2023 collection, The Rain Coat, the British singer’s long-sleeved maxi black gown featured structured shoulders, an asymmetrical neckline and more than 15,000 Swarovski crystals that were hand-stitched on to the dress to create the effect of glittering raindrops.

Adele has worn a number of exceptional looks throughout her Las Vegas residency—each a luxurious take on the classic black gown—by major designers such as Valentino, Givenchy, Schiaparelli and Oscar de la Renta. This is the first time she has worn a gown by Wun.

“A lot of incredible things [have] happened this year, but this is one of the most emotional [ones] for me, as a long-time fan since 2010, it is truly an honour, thank you, Adele,” the designer said in a slideshow post showing the singer in his gown, that is followed by images and videos of the gown’s creative process.

Wun has dressed the likes of Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Cardi B, Celine Dion and Blackpink’s Lisa since he debuted his brand in 2014. And more recently, he also dressed Hong Kong Mirror member Keung To in a Swarovski crystal-embellished suit for his solo concert in Hong Kong earlier this month.
