The actress is the second celebrity ambassador to have joined the maison in the history of the brand
Taiwan-born actress Shu Qi is the newest face of Bottega Veneta.
The news was announced on her Instagram page and via a press release from the Italian maison.
“Bottega Veneta inherits the classic spirit of Italian craftsmanship,” Qi says in the press release. “There’s a cinematic quality to the design with a beautiful sense of texture, detail, and movement. It’s a pleasure to represent such a rich heritage and distinct creative vision.”
Qi attended Bottega Veneta’s spring-summer 2024 show at Milan Fashion Week last month, for which she wore an oversized blazer and trousers by creative designer Matthieu Blazy.
Her appointment marks the second time the maison has turned to a celebrity brand ambassador—and the second Asian star at that. Before Qi, BTS’s RM had joined the house in March this year.
