1. Giambattista Valli at Paris Fashion Week

This Giambattista Valli creation that Fan wore to the maison’s autumn-winter 2023 showcase at Paris Fashion Week in March this year was elegant and extravagant in equal measure. The cape-style jacket with gold sequins, feathered cuffs and beehive hairdo exuded flamboyance with a hint of vintage vibes.

2. Christopher Bu at ‘Green Night’ premiere

Fan attended the premiere of her film Green Night (2023) at Berlin International Film Festival in February in a qipao-inspired number created by Chinese couturier Christopher Bu. The white, floor-length gown with long split sleeves and silver-blue floral embroidery gave a nod to the actress’s Chinese heritage.

No one knows this better than Fan who glittered at this year’s ceremony in a Tony Ward Couture halter-neck sequinned gown, made even more glamorous with a green taffeta overskirt and exaggerated sleeves. She finished the romantic look with retro Hollywood-style hairdo.

5. Georges Hobeika at Cannes Film Festival

Fan channelled moody ballerina energy in a feathered ombre gown from Lebanese brand Georges Hobeika’s haute couture 2023 collection at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. She completed the look with a high bun, dangling earrings and sleek cat-eye make-up to add a touch of edge.
