Happy Skin and Disney proudly created new Beauty and the Beast lip products just in time for the much anticipated, soon to be blockbuster, movie. Today, Happy Skin held an exclusive premier of the highly anticipated movie, in Uptown Mall, BGC, in partnership with Pandora. We got a sneak preview of the movie 3 days before the movie will be shown publically, and of these beautifully packaged and high quality lip kits!
At the premier, Happy Skin revealed their brand new Disney Beauty and The Beast themed liquid matte lipstick and a lip kit, which includes a lip liner! “Belle is the epitome of beauty, bravery, and loyalty – we want to celebrate these virtues,” says Co-Founder Rissa Mananquil-Trillo. Both the movie and the lip kits came to fruition in March, for International Women’s Month -- perfect timing!
Last year, the much-loved Disney brand agreed to collaborate with the local cosmetics label, Happy Skin, in order to produce Disney Princess themed make-up. “We worked very closely with the Disney team to create [these] collections. We studied the movie and found the best match to Belle’s lip colour.” The Happy Skin x Disney lines were meant to be sold throughout a 1 year time period but instead, they flew of off the shelves and were sold out in a few short months!
