For Ferragamo's Pre-Fall 2018 collection, the Ferragamo Studio Bag was made with the intention of celebrating where it all started – the founder’s first studio, the Hollywood Boot Shop in California. With this is mind, Ferragamo's Creative Director Paul Andrew worked with the talented New York based artist Ana Kras, who produced a series of short films and photos inspired by the colors and shapes seen in the Ferragamo Studio bag.
“The Ferragamo Studio bag symbolizes a desire for timeless iconicism, a merit the Ferragamo house is internationally known for and one I remember well from my youth," she said.
Since its making, Ferragamo is well-known for producing minimalistic-yet-elegant designs that are made with the finest materials and incredible craftsmanship. The Ferragamo Studio Bag is no exception. It is made from gorgeous calfskin leather that picks up color beautifully, and is finished with polished metallic hardware and Ferragamo’s signature Gancini clasp. Finally, the studded bottom adds a hint of modernism to the feminine, formal design.
Available in the medium size, it is the “one-stop solution” for the modern Ferragamo lady. In addition, the Ferragamo Studio Bag is also available in a range of colors including Nero, Fango, Wine and Antique Rose.
