Luxury is great, but vintage adds personality. Here's where you can find sartorial pieces that answer to the best of both worlds!

Vintage seems to be a big throwaway word these days. While the usual stars are thrift store finds, not everyone wants to stay complacent in the usual mix of vintage pieces. If you're looking to up your look but love the personality that comes with older clothes, we suggest looking for luxury. And yes, it's possible to find them amidst the heap of vintage stores out there! Here's where you can start your search.

Under The Sun

Need vintage luxury? Under The Sun is one of the bests. The store sports really cool finds from design houses such as Kenzo, Fendi, and Versace. Of course, streetwear is also available, so the usual staples of Adidas and FILA sit alongside inspired favourites such a vintage Chanel silk bomber, a Prada hoodie, and Burberry long-sleeves. Be quick though as these rare pieces are obviously one-of-a-kind finds!

Fits Ya Good

While Fits Ya Good Vintage doesn't exclusively sell luxury, they do have some cool curated on-hand items. Among them are these Bally chunky heeled shoes, a Louis Vuitton monogram canvas bag, and some Sergio Rossi pumps. Not only that but Fits Ya Good is also a master at styling — and it's easy to see on Instagram grid. They make old finds look good as new with artful layering and bold colour combinations. Keep an eye out for their pop-ups and new uploads on their website!

Gimme The Loot

Gimme The Loot Vintage caters more to a male audience, and with their vintage sneakers and cool backpacks, it's easy to see why. This local brand also offers some rare finds that include an Issey Miyake patchwork shirt (and Bao Bao tote), printed Jean Paul Gaultier pants, and of course, this uber-cool Versace bomber. Those who want to opt for a more laidback look can also invest in some vintage Nikes or even a Vetements raincoat.

Mellon Collie

Mellon Collie's dainty aesthetic was inspired by Japanese minimalism — gone are the overwhelming graphic prints so often found in vintage stores. Instead, Mellon Collie focuses on feminine staples and accessories that are as stylish as they are rare. Much of their luxury offerings are Ferragamo shoes — from pumps to loafers and slingbacks. They also recently sold a vintage pair of Celine sunglasses, a Cartier scarf, and a Burberry blazer as well. All their finds are sourced from Nagoya, so there are plenty of interesting Japanese brands to choose from — just keep an eye out!

Vintage Vault

Vintage Vault is a treasure trove of luxury gems. Some of their most popular items are their shoes — of which there are Bottega Veneta sandals, Gucci mules and Dior sneakers. Of course, it would be unfair to discredit their other high-value items as well, some of which are Chanel outerwear, Versace tees, and a Burberry hoodie.
