These Adidas sneakers will never go out of style.

Adidas remains one of the top sneaker brands in the country because of its exemplary technology and timeless style—qualities which also explain why it has been a favourite across the world. Most likely, the Adidas sneakers you own today were designed based on earlier concepts that are deemed iconic up until today.

1. Adidas Forest Hills

The Adidas Forest Hills shoes is a great tennis trainer that was named after New York's Forest Hills tennis centre. Many were impressed with its lightweight NASA technology when it was first released in the 1970s. Not only does it give off a classic court style, but it's also a great shoe to pair with streetwear.

2. Adidas Ultraboost

A crowd favourite, the Adidas Ultraboost was first introduced to the world in 2015. Using cutting-edge technology that's been used by NASA for testing the structural integrity of their space shuttles, this shoe is designed to provide comfort from heel to toe by considering strain and tension on certain parts of the runner's foot. The Ultraboost has become the choice of many, especially when rapper Kanye West first stepped on stage wearing the sneakers.

3. Adidas Stan Smith

This Adidas shoe was named after the world's number one tennis player Stan Smith, a two-time Grand Slam singles champion. Reminiscent of its namesake, this sneaker has been designed to portray the definition of calm and cool which makes it a timeless design. The shoe's silhouette remains the same despite having a refined design that appeals to the modern wearer. Nonetheless, the Stan Smith is still a versatile sneaker.

4. Adidas Superstar

Since its iconic debut in 1970, the Adidas Superstar remains a top-rated shoe in the market. Because of the sneakers' rubber shell toe and leather upper, around 85 per cent of professional basketball players in the US chose to wear the Superstar on the court. But these days, these sneakers have become essential for non-athletes as well as it has been reimagined by various trendsetters and released in various other colourways.

5. Adidas Gazelle

The Adidas Gazelle was the first shoe designed with suede. On the initial launch, it had the 'T' toe overlay and white stripes that stand out alongside its coloured suede material. Earlier designs had the shoehorn heel tab, but the newer ones have a white heel tab. At one point, Adidas released a similar design known as the Athen shoe. But demand for the Gazelle increased just as hip-hop rose in Europe, as this style appealed to the people in the hip-hop scene.

6. Adidas NMD

Another celebrated model from Adidas is the NMD. Back in 2015 when the NMD was launched following the success of Ultraboost, people warmly welcomed the new design. Its success is mostly owed to various limited-edition collaborations, including Pharell. The sneakers' sleek silhouette and varying designs make it a shoe that can fit all. It's also incredibly low maintenance; you can simply store the shoe anywhere as it has a Primeknit upper that can be stuffed anywhere.

7. Adidas Italia

Originally released in 1959, the Adidas Italia sneakers were loved by many as it was launched during the Olympic Games in Rome. Its fresh, new silhouette and style became popular and was soon worn by everyone. Staying true to Adidas' original style, the Italia sneakers have lace stays and the signature three stripes on the side. The tongue also has the brand's logo in blue. It's a slim, all-around shoe that can be worn almost anywhere.
