Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren got the Big Apple buzzing on the seventh day of New York Fashion Week with two highly distinct runway shows. Michael Kors presented a collection filled with warm, comfortable pieces, such as fur, worn over sparkly dresses, while Ralph Lauren focused on premium-quality lightweight, chic and modern materials amid a soothing floral decor.
Other designers, such as Bibhu Mohapatra, brought diversity to their collections, with highly feminine silhouettes designed for the various aspects of women's lives. This made for collections channeling various styles and influences.
New York Fashion Week closes Thursday, February 16 with the Marc Jacobs show, one of the week's most eagerly awaited runway events.
